Hisense Tipped to Launch Gaming-Focused QLED TV With 144Hz Panel in India This Week

Hisense is preparing to introduce a new addition to its television lineup in India this week—one that’s aimed squarely at gamers and home entertainment enthusiasts.

According to a recent report by 91Mobiles, the upcoming Hisense E7Q Pro QLED TV is expected to launch with high refresh rates, AI-powered enhancements, and a wide range of connectivity options.

Hisense Reportedly Launching AI-Backed Gaming TV in India This Week

A QLED TV Geared Toward Gaming

The E7Q Pro isn’t just another 4K television—it’s part of a growing trend of TVs tuned for modern gaming needs. Hisense appears to be banking on a set of specifications that cater to console and PC gamers alike. Among the key highlights: a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium certification, and a Game Mode Pro setting that enables variable refresh rate (VRR). These features help reduce screen tearing and input lag, especially during high-speed gameplay.

Adding to the gaming appeal is a dedicated Game Bar UI, similar to what we’ve seen in TVs from Samsung and LG, offering quick access to performance metrics and gaming settings mid-session.

Size Options That Scale Big

Ahead of the launch, the Hisense E7Q Pro was spotted on Amazon India’s website, revealing three available screen sizes—55-inch, 65-inch, and a massive 100-inch option for those with larger setups. All variants will feature quantum dot displays, offering enhanced brightness and color accuracy, along with a native contrast ratio of 3800:1.

Cinema Meets AI

Hisense is also leaning into film lovers with features like Filmmaker Mode, which disables motion smoothing and other post-processing tweaks to preserve the original look and feel intended by directors.

In terms of audio-visual experience, the TV is listed to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, along with DTS:X audio powered by 20W speakers. These specs won’t replace a full soundbar system but are decent for casual viewing.

What’s more interesting is the AI layer that Hisense has baked in. The AI 4K Upscaler uses the Hi-View Engine to enhance lower-resolution content. Meanwhile, AI Picture adjusts contrast, clarity, and color balance in real-time based on what's happening onscreen and in the room. An AI Light Sensor complements this by adapting brightness according to ambient lighting.

Smart Features and Connectivity

Smart home users won’t be left out either. The TV will come with Alexa built-in and a voice control remote, making it easy to operate without needing a phone or external smart speaker. It also supports Apple AirPlay, which is a welcome addition for iPhone and Mac users.

On the connectivity front, the E7Q Pro checks off most of the essentials:

  • HDMI 2.1 with eARC

  • USB 2.0 ports

  • 3.5mm headphone jack

  • Composite AV input

  • RF and SPDIF ports

  • Audio input

  • Dual-band Wi-Fi

  • Bluetooth 5.0

The Bigger Picture

With brands like Samsung and Sony continuing to push premium smart TVs in India, Hisense seems to be positioning the E7Q Pro as a compelling alternative for those seeking gaming-focused features at what could be a more affordable price point.

While exact pricing and launch day availability haven’t been confirmed, the listing on Amazon suggests an official announcement is just around the corner.
