With the IFA 2017 likely to start tomorrow in Berlin, Panasonic has now announced that it will in introducing some new products for the consumers.
The first thing that the company will be looking forward to is that it will be expanding its EZ1000 4K OLED TV series with a new Panasonic TV. And interestingly, we will be seeing a big reveal in terms of 77-inch TV. This EZ1000 77-inch model will be one of the biggest of its kind on the market and it seems that the company will be taking the competition to the next level with its OLED panels.
Talking more about the TV, it will be featuring 4K Ultra HD resolution and HDR for improved contrast and richer colors, support for the upcoming HDR10+, which aims to bring the dynamic HDR performance of Dolby's proprietary HDR format as well as support for Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). Further, the TV will come with Dolby Vision, to the open-standard HDR10 protocol. Besides the large screen size and vast HDR format support will make this TV an enticing model among the company's product lineup.
While the TV sports an OLED display, Panasonic has also ensured the TVs quality with the help of THX 4K certification or benchmark. Just so that you know, in order to get THX certified devices need to have a high standard across different criteria. Once they get certified the devices also receive THX's own fine-tuned presets as a benefit. The new TV sports the THX 4K Cinema Mode picture preset. The EZ1000 77-inch model is definitely few TVs out there to pass the certification.
Additionally, for better audio output, there will be a 70-watt Dynamic Blade Speaker placed at the bottom of the TV. The speaker has reportedly been developed by Technics, which is a Panasonic-owned Hi-Fi audio brand. Talking about the Blade speaker will come with a quad passive radiator for bass boost and multiple drivers. The speaker will slim-factor design and runs along the length of the TV.
Apart from the TV, Panasonic also announced a new smart speaker called SC-GA10. This new speaker packs Google Assistant and features a 20mm tweeter and 8cm woofer.
Panasonic claimed that the speaker delivers great music playing capabilities and that it further comes with Spotify, Google Music, Tunein and Deezer support. The speaker will come with "multi-room abilities out of the box" meaning it will allow users to choose which rooms they want the music to play from.
Panasonic GA10 smart speaker will be going on sale 'this winter'. The price is yet to be announced.
