Intex Launches 65-Inch And 75-Inch QLED 4K TVs In India With Google TV And Dolby Support

Intex has introduced two new smart TVs in India, expanding its lineup with 65-inch and 75-inch models. The launch comes at a time when larger screen sizes are becoming more common among buyers moving beyond entry-level TVs.

Both models use QLED panels with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160). The company has opted for a frameless ADS panel design, which is typically used to offer wider viewing angles compared to standard panels.

Focus On Core Display Features

The TVs support Dolby Vision, HDR, and MEMC. These are now fairly standard features in this segment, aimed at improving contrast, motion handling, and overall clarity, especially in fast-moving content.

Intex says the panels can reach brightness levels above 400 nits, along with colour optimisation for more consistent output across different lighting conditions.

Google TV And App Support

Both models run on the Google TV platform, which brings access to apps like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar. The interface is designed to bring content from different apps into one place, making it easier to browse.

There’s also built-in Chromecast support, allowing users to cast content from their phones. A voice-enabled remote with Google Assistant is included for basic voice control.

Hardware And Audio Setup

The TVs are powered by a quad-core processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. That setup is meant to handle app navigation and streaming without noticeable lag.

For audio, the TVs include dual 15W speakers with Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos support.

Connectivity And Availability

Connectivity options include HDMI and USB ports, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. Both models can be placed on a stand or wall-mounted.

Intex says the TVs will be available through offline retail channels across India. Pricing has not been announced at the time of writing.
