JBL Launches New Bar MK2 Soundbar Series in India With Dolby Atmos: Check Price, Specs, Features

JBL is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a new launch in India, and this one is clearly aimed at people who want a proper home theatre setup without turning their living room into a mess of wires.

The company has introduced its new JBL Bar MK2 Series in India, bringing Dolby Atmos-powered soundbars across multiple price points. The lineup starts at Rs 64,999 and goes up to Rs 1,74,999.

JBL Wants To Make Home Theatre Setups Less Complicated

The biggest highlight here is convenience.

JBL says the new Bar MK2 series comes with detachable wireless surround speakers that can be removed from the soundbar and placed around the room whenever you want a full surround sound experience. Once you're done, you can place them back on the soundbar.

It’s a cleaner setup compared to traditional home theatre systems that usually involve multiple wires and permanent speaker placement.

The company is positioning the lineup around a simpler plug-and-play experience, while still trying to deliver room-filling audio.
