LG Expands Essential Series and Premium Appliance Range in India for 2026

LG Electronics India has launched its 2026 home appliance range in India, expanding both its Essential Series and premium portfolio with new refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, microwaves, and water purifiers.

The company says the new lineup focuses on offering more capacities, price points, and features designed around Indian household usage. That includes handling frequent power cuts, fluctuating water supply, and larger family requirements.

The Essential Series, first introduced in 2025, now includes additional refrigerator and washing machine models aimed at improving accessibility across more markets.

Essential Series Gets New Refrigerators and Washing Machines

LG has expanded its sub-300L refrigerator range with 225L, 251L, and 276L variants. Features include Smart Inverter Compressors, Smart Mode adaptive cooling, Convertible with Dairy Mode, and Auto Smart Connect for operation during power interruptions.

The company has also introduced more finish options, including Onyx Black, Wine Glory, Emerald Lotus, and Radiant Inox.

On the laundry side, the Essential Series includes fully automatic top-load washing machines between 8kg and 10kg, along with AX semi-automatic models up to 12kg.

These models include features like Low Pressure Fill, Intelligent Auto Restart, Turbo Spin, Eco Wash, and ProShield motor protection.

LG has also introduced convertible convection microwave ovens with air fry support, 330+ auto cook menus, and Indian bread presets.

Premium Range Adds AI Features and Larger Capacities

LG’s premium lineup now includes larger French Door and Side-by-Side refrigerators. The company says its new 33-inch French Door model is India’s first in the segment to offer an Auto Ice Maker without requiring a plumbing connection.

Features include InstaView Door-in-Door, Hygiene Fresh+, Smart Learner cooling, Express Freeze, and AI ThinQ connectivity.

The premium washing machine lineup includes AI DD 2.0 technology that can detect fabric type, load size, and soil levels to optimize washing performance automatically.

LG has also updated its dishwasher and water purifier range. The 15-place dishwasher supports up to 92 utensils and includes TrueSteam and QuadWash technologies. Meanwhile, the new water purifiers offer UV sterilization, stainless steel tanks, and alkaline water support.

Prices for the new lineup start at Rs. 16,600 for water purifiers and go up to Rs. 1.18 lakh for premium French Door refrigerators.
