Lumio Arc 5 Projector Now on Sale in India With Google TV and Netflix Support: Check Price, Specs, Features

Lumio has released its latest home projector, the Arc 5, in India. The device is being sold exclusively on Amazon at an introductory price of ₹17,499, with the regular price listed at ₹19,999. It follows the earlier Arc 7 model, which launched during Prime Day.

A Focus on Accessibility

The Arc 5 is positioned as a lighter and more affordable option compared to the Arc 7. It weighs 1.33 kg and can project images up to 100 inches in Full HD, with HDR10 support. The projector also uses a sealed “ArcLight Engine” design that aims to prevent dust build-up and preserve clarity over time.

One of the notable differences from other projectors in its price segment is that the Arc 5 is Google TV certified and comes with native Netflix support. This means content can be streamed directly without the need for dongles or sideloading apps. In total, the device supports access to over 11,000 apps, including YouTube, Prime Video, and JioHotstar.

Sound and Setup

For audio, the Arc 5 includes 5W speakers with dual passive radiators and Dolby Audio support. While not a replacement for a dedicated sound system, the built-in setup should be adequate for smaller spaces.

The projector also offers features aimed at easier installation, such as auto-keystone correction, autofocus with a time-of-flight sensor, and obstacle avoidance. A new remote includes shortcuts for Netflix, YouTube, and Lumio’s own TLDR app, which provides curated dashboards for sports updates and music discovery.

Local Manufacturing and Support

According to the company, the Arc 5 is manufactured in India and tested for conditions such as dust, heat, and power fluctuations. It is backed by a nationwide service network of more than 200 centers and comes with a one-year warranty.

Pricing and Availability

The Lumio Arc 5 is currently available on Amazon India for ₹17,499 as part of its launch offer. Once that offer ends, the standard price will move to ₹19,999. The higher-end Arc 7 remains available at ₹34,999.
