This is not the first time that Microsoft has unveiled a Minecraft edition console. Back in 2014, Microsoft released the Minecraft Xbox One Edition bundled with Xbox One S. The console bundled with the game was no different from the prevailing version of Xbox S consoles.

However, Microsoft will soon unveil a console dedicated to Minecraft. The design and the looks of the gizmo will give it an appearance of a real life object out of the Minecraft world. The limited edition console will have Minecraft blocks carved into its design. The controller will also get colored in Minecraft's theme with Brown and Green composition.

The news of the upcoming console comes from a video posted on the official Facebook page of Minecraft. It is expected that the console will be unveiled at the Gamescom event in Germany. It is expected that Microsoft will also unveil a Project Scorpio limited edition version of the new Xbox One X.

The Xbox One S displays graphics at 4K Ultra HD resolution. It offers High Dynamic Range display. It also gets Premium Dolby Atmos and DTSX audio. Currently, the Xbox One S comes for approximately Rs. 30,000 in India so the upcoming special edition will certainly be priced more.

Minecraft players are certainly going to love the themed design. Although, if you are not a fan of Minecraft, Amazon already has some great deals on FIFA and Gears of War 4 bundled Xbox One S.
