OnePlus Speaker Lauch in India Officially Teased: Confirmed to Feature Transparent Design

OnePlus is gearing up to unveil a new product in India soon. The Chinese smartphone maker recently dropped its first foldable phone in India in the form of the OnePlus Open.

Now, the company has officially teased the launch of the OnePlus Speaker in India. The teaser reads, "Get ready to make some music", while the teaser video says, "The wonder of music meets the power of tech."

The teaser suggests that the OnePlus Speaker will be a premium product, with the speaker system house in a transparent glass case, reminiscent of Nothing's design formula. Moreover, the speaker system appears to have a five-woofer setup.

Apart from the woofers, you can also see a big display in the middle, which appears to be a control panel of sorts. The speaker system will also feature an EQ setting with several preset music modes including R&B, Hip hop, Pop, Trap, Rock, and EDM.

As of now, there 's no official OnePlus Speaker launch date in India, although the company does say it will be "coming soon". The news about the OnePlus Speaker has hit the tech community by surprise as the smartphone maker has been able to keep things under wraps thus far.

OnePlus Audio Products

OnePlus is no stranger to audio products as the company has already released true wireless earbuds and neckband style wireless earphones in India. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 unveiled earlier this year offered a premium audio experience.

Moreover, OnePlus has also expanded its product portfolio in the country, introducing its first foldable smartphone and Android tablet in India this year. And now, the company appears to be further bolstering its offerings in the country with the upcoming OnePlus Speaker.

It will be interesting to see how OnePlus compete in India's premium audio segment, which is currently dominated by players like Sony, Bose, Sonos, Samsung, and JBL.
