Samsung Launches Vision AI-Enhanced Neo QLED, OLED, & The Frame TVs in India: Check Price, Specs, Availability
Samsung has introduced its 2025 lineup of Neo QLED, OLED, QLED, and The Frame TVs in India, featuring a new technology called Vision AI.
The announcement was made at an event in Gurugram on May 7, 2025, where Samsung highlighted its focus on smarter, more adaptive TV experiences.

Vision AI: The Heart of Samsung's New TVs
The key feature of this launch is Samsung Vision AI. According to Samsung, Vision AI is designed around three main pillars: AI Mode, AI Experience, and Multi-Device Connectivity.
-
AI Mode adjusts picture quality and sound in real time. It uses deep-learning algorithms to adapt to both the content on screen and the ambient lighting in the room.
-
AI Experience learns user preferences over time, optimizing content recommendations and settings.
-
Multi-Device Connectivity lets the TV seamlessly connect with smartphones, tablets, and other smart devices, making it easier to share content and control smart home features.
Samsung's Senior Director of Visual Display Business, Viplesh Dang, described this approach as part of a shift towards more personalized and interactive TV experiences. He noted that with Vision AI, Samsung is aiming to make TVs not just display screens, but more integrated parts of smart living spaces.

Key Features of the 2025 Lineup
The 2025 lineup introduces some interesting features aimed at making TV interaction more seamless:
-
Universal Gesture Control: Users can navigate the TV with hand gestures, removing the need for a remote. This is made possible with AI technology that works alongside a connected Galaxy Watch.
-
AI Upscaling Pro: This feature improves lower-resolution content to near-8K quality, enhancing sharpness and detail.
-
Generative Wallpaper: When the TV is idle, it can display personalized 4K artwork that matches the mood or time of day.
-
Multi-Device Connectivity: The TV integrates with SmartThings, offering real-time alerts on smart home devices and energy monitoring.
-
Pet and Family Care Mode: Samsung has also added a feature that monitors for unusual activity, like pets barking or a baby crying, and can send alerts if needed.
Neo QLED 8K QN950F: The Flagship Model
The highlight of this release is the Neo QLED 8K QN950F. It’s powered by Samsung's NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor, which the company says uses 768 neural networks to enhance image and audio quality. Some of its key features include:
-
8K AI Upscaling Pro: Converts lower-resolution content to 8K quality.
-
Glare-Free Viewing: Minimizes reflections in bright rooms.
-
Q-Symphony and Dolby Atmos: Synchronizes the TV’s speakers with compatible soundbars for more immersive audio.
-
240Hz Refresh Rate: Aimed at smoother motion for gaming and sports.
-
AI Mode: Automatically adjusts picture and sound based on content and room lighting.
The QN950F is available in 85, 75, and 65 inches, and it features a minimalist design Samsung calls Infinity Air.
Moving Beyond Entertainment
What’s interesting about Samsung’s new lineup is its deeper integration into smart home setups. With SmartThings, these TVs act as a central hub for connected devices, providing energy monitoring, smart alerts, and even ambient sensing to adjust room settings. The TVs also come with Samsung Knox security, adding layers of protection against unauthorized changes and phishing threats.
Samsung is promising 7 years of OS updates, which is notably longer than the typical lifespan of most smart TVs.
