Samsung’s 2025 Soundbars Launched in India with AI-Powered Audio, Wireless Dolby Atmos: Check Price, Specs

Samsung has announced its 2025 soundbar lineup in India, adding new models that focus on audio customization, smart home features, and more compact design.

The lineup includes the flagship HW-Q990F and the modular HW-QS700F, aimed at users looking for better control over home entertainment without adding clutter.

AI Plays a Bigger Role in Sound Tuning

At the core of this update is Samsung’s upgraded AI Sound Engine. The idea is that the soundbar analyzes what you're watching and adjusts the audio profile accordingly. Whether it’s a dialogue-heavy show or a bass-heavy movie, the sound adapts in real time.

Features like Dynamic Bass Control aim to manage low-frequency output without distortion, while Active Voice Amplifier Pro tries to separate voices from background noise for clearer speech. These aren’t new ideas in the soundbar world, but Samsung appears to be pushing them further by adding environmental awareness to the mix.

Smart Home Support Across Platforms

Samsung is also positioning these soundbars as smart home devices. Along with Samsung’s own SmartThings platform, the new models support Alexa, Google Assistant, Chromecast, AirPlay, and are Roon Ready. So if you're using any of these systems, you’ll likely be able to connect and control the soundbar without too much setup.

Q-Symphony Pro, another key feature, lets the soundbar work alongside a Samsung TV’s built-in speakers instead of replacing them. It’s a subtle shift, but one that might improve overall sound depth if executed well.

Focus on Size, Without Dropping Performance

A recurring theme in this release is trying to save space without compromising too much on sound. The included wireless subwoofer is now 58% smaller than previous models, which could matter in smaller homes or apartments. There’s also a Gyro Sensor that lets the soundbar recognize whether it’s mounted on a wall or sitting on a surface, and it adjusts its output accordingly.

Visually, the design is minimalist and leans into blending in rather than standing out.

Pricing and Where to Get It

The new soundbars are available now through Samsung’s website, offline retailers, and major e-commerce platforms in India. Prices start at ₹14,990 and go up to ₹92,990 for the top-end HW-Q990F model.
