Sony Bravia 7 II Series Launches in India With New RGB LED Technology: Check Price, Features
Sony has expanded its premium television lineup in India with the launch of the Bravia 7 II series. The new range introduces a different approach to LED backlighting by giving the TV independent control over red, green, and blue LEDs, a move aimed at improving colour accuracy and contrast.

The company says this RGB-based system is designed to deliver more natural-looking colours while also helping the television handle bright and dark scenes with greater precision. The Bravia 7 II series will be available in screen sizes ranging from 55 inches all the way up to 98 inches.
Sony's RGB Approach Takes Center Stage
While most premium TVs focus on brightness upgrades or panel improvements, Sony is putting its latest RGB lighting system at the heart of the Bravia 7 II.
The technology works alongside Sony's RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro and Cognitive Processor XR. Together, they control light output more precisely and adjust picture elements in real time. Sony has also included technologies such as RGB Triluminos Max, Smooth Colour Gradation, and X-Wide Angle Pro to improve colour reproduction and viewing consistency across different seating positions.
The result, according to Sony, is a picture that can better preserve subtle colour details while maintaining stronger contrast.
Built for Movies, Sports, and Streaming
The Bravia 7 II series supports a wide range of video and audio formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Atmos, and DTS.
Sony is also continuing its focus on audio positioning. Larger models in the lineup feature Acoustic Multi-Audio+, which is designed to make sound appear closer to where the action is happening on screen. Voice Zoom 3 has also been added to make dialogue easier to follow during movies, TV shows, and live broadcasts.
Gaming Features Remain a Priority
Sony hasn't overlooked gamers either.
The new TVs support 4K resolution at 120Hz through HDMI 2.1 and include Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). Features such as Dolby Vision Gaming, Auto HDR Tone Mapping, Auto Genre Picture Mode, PS Remote Play, and the updated Game Menu 2 are also part of the package.
These additions are aimed at players looking to pair the TV with modern gaming consoles and high-performance PCs.
Google TV With Gemini Coming Later
The Bravia 7 II lineup ships with Google TV and includes support for Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay 2, Apple HomeKit, Chromecast, and Alexa-enabled devices.
Sony has also confirmed that Gemini support will be added to Google TV through a future software update, bringing Google's latest AI features to compatible models.
