Sony Bravia 8 OLED Smart TV Launched in India with Google TV, Dolby Vision, Gaming Features
Sony has introduced the Bravia 8 OLED smart TV series in India. This new lineup includes 65-inch (K-6580) and 55-inch (K-55XR80) models, both running on Google TV. Key features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Latency Mode (ALLM). The screens support a refresh rate of 120Hz at up to 4K resolution.
The Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV series supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision formats. Additionally, these TVs come with built-in Chromecast and Apple AirPlay support. The price for the 55-inch model starts at Rs. 2,19,990, while the 65-inch version is priced at Rs. 3,14,990. They are available at Sony Centers, major electronic stores, and online platforms in India.

The Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV series offers two screen sizes: 55 inches and 65 inches. Both models feature a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. These panels support HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG formats for enhanced picture quality.
Equipped with an AI-backed XR image processor, the TVs include XR 4K Upscaling technology. This technology aims to enhance 2K signals to near-4K quality for a more immersive viewing experience.
Audio and Gaming Features
The Sony Bravia 8 OLED smart TVs come with speakers that support Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Digital Surround. They also feature Sony's Acoustic Surface audio technology for better sound quality. The series includes Sony Pictures Core for access to a library of Sony Pictures movies.

For connectivity, these TVs support Bluetooth 5.3 profiles and are compatible with Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. They come with four HDMI inputs and two USB ports along with built-in Chromecast functionality.
Gamers will appreciate the Auto HDR Tone Mapping feature that optimizes HDR settings instantly. The TVs also support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). Running on Google TV, users can access movies, TV episodes, apps, and games from the Google Play Store using voice commands via the included remote.
