Sony Launches BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and Bar 6 in India with Focus on Immersive Audio: Check Price, Specs
Sony India has announced two new additions to its home entertainment lineup — the BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 — aiming to deliver spatial audio in living rooms with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Two Audio Systems for Different Needs
The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6, a 3.1.2-channel soundbar with upfiring speakers and a wireless subwoofer, is priced at ₹39,990 and goes on sale from July 1. The System 6, a more traditional 5.1-channel surround sound setup with wireless rear speakers and a dedicated subwoofer, will be available from July 3 for ₹49,990.
Virtual Surround Sound and India-Tuned Audio
Both devices use Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround to create a virtual surround effect without ceiling or wall-mounted speakers. Sony says the systems are tuned for Indian preferences, with an emphasis on deep bass and dialogue clarity.

The Voice Zoom 3 feature enhances human voices using AI-based processing. The System 6 also includes Multi Stereo Mode, which spreads stereo sound across all channels for room-filling playback. Both models include Night and Voice Modes, designed for quieter environments and dialogue-heavy content.
Smart Controls and Accessibility
Users can control both products using the BRAVIA Connect App, or through quick settings on BRAVIA TVs. Tactile indicators on HDMI ports and raised QR codes for screen readers support accessibility during setup.
Environmentally Conscious Design
Sony has used recycled PET fabric and reduced plastic in the packaging for both products, in line with its sustainability goals.
The systems will be sold via Sony retail stores, ShopAtSC.com, and major online platforms starting in early July.
