Sony Launches BRAVIA 5 Series TVs in India with Mini LED Display, XR Processor, and 120Hz Refresh Rate

Sony has introduced its BRAVIA 5 series televisions in India, offering four different sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch. The new lineup comes shortly after the recent launch of the BRAVIA 8 II series. The BRAVIA 5 series boasts impressive display features, including 4K LCD panels with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. They are equipped with Mini LED backlighting and local dimming technology to enhance picture quality. Additionally, these TVs support HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision standards for superior visual performance.

With a refresh rate of 120Hz, the Sony Bravia 5 series ensures smooth motion handling. The XR Contrast Booster 10 enhances brightness and black levels for better contrast. It also includes XR Triluminos Pro for precise colour accuracy and XR Clear Image and XR Motion Clarity further improve image sharpness.

Running on Android TV with the Google TV interface, the BRAVIA 5 series offers voice control capabilities through a voice remote. It also includes Studio Calibrated Mode and Prime Video Calibrated Mode.

The audio system in the Sony Bravia 5 series delivers a total output of 40W through its four-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio setup. It supports Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS: X, and DTS Digital Surround for an immersive sound experience.
