Sony Launches New Bravia 2 Series Smart TVs in India – Comes in 4 Sizes With Google TV Built-In

Sony unveiled its latest line of smart TVs, the Bravia 2 series, in India on May 21st, 2024. This series features Google TV and comes in two main variants: S20 and S25.

Multiple Screen Sizes and Focus on Gaming

The Bravia 2 series offers four screen sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. The 43-inch and 50-inch models fall under the S20 variant, designed for general use. Gamers will be particularly interested in the S25 variant, offered in 55-inch and 65-inch displays for immersive gaming.

Picture and Sound Quality

All Bravia 2 models are powered by Sony's X1 processor, which uses advanced algorithms to improve picture quality by reducing noise and enhancing detail. The processor also supports features like 4K X-Reality Pro for upscaling content to 4K resolution and Motionflow XR for smoother visuals. For sound, the Bravia 2 series boasts a 20W twin-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support.

Smart Features and Connectivity

The Bravia 2 series runs on Google TV, offering access to over 10,000 apps from the Google Play Store for TV. Additionally, the TV supports Apple AirPlay, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant for voice control. The S25 variant, geared towards gamers, includes an HDMI 2.1 port for connecting the PlayStation 5 and other next-generation consoles. All models come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
