Tata Play Brings New Anime Service in Regional Languages: Check All the Details Here

Tata Play has introduced a new service for its Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi subscribers. Named Anime Local, this ad-free service provides Japanese animation in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Subscribers can access it via both TV and the Tata Play mobile app.

Tata Play Anime Local is available on channel number 681, which will be free for the first five days and then Rs 2 per day thereafter. It features popular anime shows such as Naruto, Sergeant Keroro, Ninjaboy Rantaro, Naruto Shippuden, Black Clover, and Robotech. This service aims to cater to the growing fan base of animation content in India.

Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer at Tata Play commented on the launch of Anime Local: "Anime Local on Tata Play will be an exciting addition to our exhaustive bouquet of offerings. The fan base for the animation content is growing every day and we are confident that our new service will delight them."

Anime Local joins over 45 entertainment and infotainment value-added services on Tata Play. The platform offers a wide range of services spanning genres such as entertainment, kids, learning, regional content, and devotion.

Moreover, Tata Play introduced a new value-added service called Tata Play 4K back in March. This service allows viewers to watch content in super-high resolution. Another notable service is Tata Play Record Premium, priced at Rs 199.

Tata Play Record Premium enables customers to record their favourite shows from multiple channels simultaneously. This feature is available exclusively for Tata Play Binge+ Set-top-box customers. Subscriptions can be purchased digitally from the Tata Play website or mobile app.
