Tata Sky Binge Adds ZEE5 To Its OTT Platform Portfolio
Tata Sky Binge has recently included ZEE5 to its OTT platform catalogue. With the addition of ZEE5, Tata Sky Binge is targeting to add over 1,00,000 hours of content in 12 languages, covering Bollywood and regional cinemas. In addition, the subscribers of Tata Sky Binge can easily get access to ZEE5 content without paying extra charges.

According to the officials, ZEE5 is aiming to introduce over 72 shows by the end of March 2020. In a major breakthrough, ZEE5 has already provided 25 original shows covering all genres. The downloads for ZEE5 have already surpassed 70 million figures. And as of September 2019, ZEE5 had nine million active users.
Other than that, Tata Sky customers can operate the Tata Sky Binge service via Amazon Fire TV Stick at Rs. 249 monthly DTH plan. With the inclusion of ZEE5, Tata Sky Binge is expected to provide subscribers with as many as 5,000 titles from its VOD library.
To recall, Tata Sky teamed with Amazon India to release its Binge service via Amazon Fire TV stick. And, Amazon Prime users can have free access for three months over the streaming service. The streaming service comes with OTT platforms like Hotstar, SunNXT, Eros Now, and Hungama Play along with the recently added ZEE5.
Web streaming services is not a new thing in India. As we have already seen Bharti Airtel which launched its Airtel Xstream to offer an amazing streaming service through a dedicated Xstream Box and Xstream Stick. On the other hand, we have growing companies like ACT Fibernet and Hathway which are providing web services via their streaming devices.
