Xiaomi Launches Redmi Smart Fire TV in India with Dolby Atmos, HDR, MEMC: Price, Specifications, Features

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Smart Fire TV 43″ and 55″ 2024 editions in India, featuring the latest Fire TV. These models come with Fire OS 7 and an Alexa voice-enabled remote, which now boasts a sleek, minimalist design.

The remote features a dedicated Alexa Button, Guide Button, Navigation Buttons, and direct to OTT apps like Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon.

Redmi Smart Fire TV Specifications

The new TVs offer a 43-inch or 55-inch 4K LED display with HDR support and MEMC technology for smoother visuals. The metal bezel-free frame enhances the viewing experience by providing a premium look. According to Xiaomi, this design elevates content immersion significantly.

Both models are equipped with powerful speakers-24W for the 43-inch version and 30W for the 55-inch version. They support Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS: Virtual X technology to deliver superior sound quality.

Redmi Smart Fire TV Advanced Features and Connectivity

These smart TVs run on a quad-core Cortex A55 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. They operate on Fire TV OS 7, offering access to over 12,000 apps including popular ones like Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+Hotstar. The Redmi Voice Remote with Alexa includes buttons for TV Guide, playback controls, channel navigation, mute function, and shortcuts to popular streaming services.

Connectivity options are robust with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz), AirPlay, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI 2.1 ports (one with ARC), two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm jack, Ethernet port, and an antenna input. The TVs also support various video codecs such as AV1, H.265, H.264, RealVideo formats as well as MPEG1/2/4.

Redmi Smart Fire TV Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Smart Fire TV is priced at Rs. 24,999 for the 43-inch model and Rs. 35,999 for the 55-inch model. With a special offer of a 10% discount using ICICI Bank cards, the effective price drops to Rs. 23,499 for the smaller model. These TVs will be available starting September 18th at noon on Flipkart and mi.com.
