Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 launched at Rs. 1,799; available during Mi Diwali sale

Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new compact Bluetooth speaker called Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 in India. This speaker is priced at Rs. 1,799 and is available in White color during the Mi Diwali Sale.

The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 weighs in at 237 grams, making it easy to carry around. The speaker is pretty compact measuring just 154.5x60x25.5mm that will let you take it in your bag. The device features a matte aluminum frame running along a white criss-cross pattern at the front and there are chamfered edges. The Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker has an internal microphone with noise reduction during calls and the power button should be pressed to receive calls. Eventually, you can experience a good hands-free calling experience with the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2.

The Xiaomi speaker features two 2.5W speakers to produce high-fidelity sound output over Bluetooth and AUX connections when paired with your phone, tablet or PC. Well, there is an AUX port on the device that lets you connect other devices without Bluetooth support to the speaker.

The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 has a 5V 1200mAh battery in it that is rated to render up to 10 hours of continuous music playback. The speaker can pick up sound in the 2402MHz to the 2480MHz frequency range. The speaker supports Bluetooth 4.2 and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

The first generation Mi Bluetooth Speaker is priced at Rs. 2,499 for now. The device has a 1500mAh battery and supports Bluetooth 4.0. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini is also available at a lesser price of Rs. 1,299 and it can render up to 4 hours of music playback.
