Need a New ASUS Laptop Battery? Here's How to Find an Official Replacement
If you've used a laptop for a few years, you've probably noticed the battery doesn't last as long as it once did. Replacing it sounds simple, but finding a genuine battery that actually fits your laptop can often be the hardest part.
That's the problem ASUS is trying to solve with its latest after-sales initiative in India. The company has expanded access to genuine laptop batteries through ASUS Exclusive Stores and authorized channel partners, making it easier for users to locate official replacement batteries backed by warranty and installation support.

Why This Matters for Laptop Users
Laptop batteries naturally degrade over time. As they age, users may notice shorter battery life, unexpected shutdowns, or the need to keep the charger plugged in more often.
While third-party batteries are widely available online, they can vary in quality and compatibility. ASUS says its new initiative is focused on helping customers access genuine replacement batteries designed specifically for supported ASUS laptops.
How to Check if Your Laptop Is Supported
The program covers a wide range of ASUS laptops, including models from the Vivobook, ROG, TUF, ExpertBook, and ProArt series.
Instead of visiting multiple stores or searching through online marketplaces, users can start by entering their laptop model details into ASUS's Battery Finder platform. The tool helps identify compatible batteries and nearby locations where they're available.
How the Battery Replacement Process Works
The process is fairly straightforward:
- Identify your ASUS laptop model.
- Visit the ASUS Battery Finder platform.
- Check battery availability for your device.
- Find a nearby ASUS Exclusive Store or authorized channel partner.
- Get the battery replaced with professional installation support.
According to ASUS, battery replacements carried out through the program are backed by a one-year warranty, providing additional peace of mind compared to unofficial replacement options.
Available Across Multiple Regions
ASUS says the initiative has already been expanded across several states and regions, including Delhi NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and North-East India.
That broader reach means users in more cities should be able to access official replacement batteries without having to ship their laptops to distant service centers.
More Than Just a Battery Replacement Program
Alongside the rollout, ASUS is also encouraging users to pay closer attention to battery health. The company recommends practices such as optimized charging habits, proper thermal management, and timely servicing to help maintain battery performance over the long term.
For ASUS laptop owners dealing with declining battery life, the initiative is essentially designed to simplify a process that can often be confusing: finding the right replacement battery, verifying its authenticity, and getting it installed through an official support channel.
Arnold Su, Vice President, Consumer and Gaming PC, System Business Group, ASUS India, said the initiative is part of the company's effort to improve the ownership experience by making genuine replacement batteries easier to access through its retail and service network.
