Call of Duty Players Can Claim 20 Free Tier Skips Plus Double XP Rewards—Here’s How to Claim
Call of Duty players are getting a rare freebie: 20 Battle Pass tier skips, available in both Warzone and Black Ops 6. Activision says the giveaway is a nod to the upcoming Black Ops 7 reveal, and it runs for a limited time. If you want to claim them, here’s how.

Step 1: Log Into Call of Duty
The skips aren’t locked behind challenges or hidden menus. All you need to do is log into Warzone or Black Ops 6 before September 16, 2025. Once you’re in, the skips will automatically be added to your account.
Step 2: Download the Season 5 Reloaded Update
Season 05 Reloaded went live on September 4, bringing a new multiplayer map, modes, weapons, events, and the Reckoning Directed Mode for Zombies. You’ll need to download this update to access the latest content—and it’s part of what triggers the reward system.
Activision has warned the download will be larger than usual on some platforms due to “content reorganization” ahead of the Black Ops 7 beta on October 2.

Step 3: Collect Extra XP Tokens
On top of the skips, Activision is giving out a pack of 2XP Tokens to anyone who downloads the Reloaded update and logs in between September 4 and October 1. The pack includes:
- Five 1-hour Double Player XP Tokens
- Five 1-hour Double Weapon XP Tokens
- Five 1-hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens
That’s 15 hours of bonus progression time, layered on top of the free tier skips.
Why Activision Is Doing This
Some players see the giveaway as a goodwill gesture. Others argue it’s a way to bring back lapsed players ahead of the Black Ops 7 beta. Whatever the motivation, the free rewards are real—and they can save you both time and money if you’re working through the Battle Pass.
Bottom Line
To recap: log into Call of Duty before September 16, make sure you download the Season 5 Reloaded update, and you’ll walk away with 20 free tier skips plus a bundle of XP Tokens. It’s straightforward, and for once, you don’t have to grind for the reward.
