How to add voice search in blogs?
Users might have noticed the presence of a symbol that represents ‘Mic’ especially in the search box on Google.com. And if the users click on that symbol and speak something, users can see that the conversation will get displayed on the box. This feature has all it takes to make the searching process quite easier than expected.
So, what this amazing feature really is?
It’s just a few months back that Google implemented a latest feature on their search engine which is probably known as ‘Voice Search’. One of the major advantages of making use of this feature is that users will just have to speak for searching any item they wish instead of typing in the queries in the search box for searching.
The functions of Google Voice Search are as follows
Click on the Mic symbol
Speak about what you want to search
Google will get the item in the search box
The functioning tales place automatically which definitely gives the users some sort of satisfaction from the typing process
Users can make use of the Voice Search feature on the English version of Google in case the user is making use of the latest version of Chrome
Download Google Chrome browser if the user doesn’t have one
After the installation, users will have to select the Wrench icon
Then click on the tab that represents ‘About Google Chrome’ for checking a latest version
Users will have to make sure that their computer has a microphone that works fine
Then users will have to open the Chrome Browser
Then navigate towards Google site
Now the users can see a tiny grey colored microphone on the right side of the search box
Then the users will have to tap the microphone
Users will now be able to view the dialog bubble
The dialog bubble indicates that its time for the user to speak about the search term
Once the user places the cursor towards the search box, they can click on Ctrl+Shift+Period for starting the voice search
Finally users can click on the ESC key for the cancellation process
Now the users can see that their results just get displayed as if the users have typed the search term
Users will have to add x-webkit-speech property in to the field that represents search box
Then the users are advised to paste the appropriate code on to their Blog’s search form
