How to Book and Cancel Train Tickets On UTS App
The Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) app allows users to instantly book platform tickets, train tickets, monthly passes, and unreserved train tickets. It's features make it easier for passengers to manage their travel plans efficiently.
Whether booking or cancelling tickets, users can handle everything through their mobile devices without hassle. Let's delve into the process of cancelling and booking train tickets using the UTS App.

How to Book and Cancel Train Tickets Using UTS App
Previously, purchasing open train tickets required standing in long queues. Now, you can book tickets from home and board the train directly. Initially, the UTS Mobile App had a 20 km limit for booking general tickets. This restriction has been removed, allowing ticket bookings from any location.
Unreserved tickets can be booked in two ways on the UTS App: Paperless Tickets and Paper Tickets. A paperless ticket means you don't need to print it after booking; you can view it on the app and show it during TDR. A paper ticket requires printing at an automatic ticket dispensing machine or counter at the station.
Paper tickets can be cancelled before printing at the machine. If you've already printed the ticket, you can cancel it at the counter within an hour. If you decide not to use a booked paper ticket, you can cancel it before printing.
After printing, cancellation must be done at the counter within an hour. The refund will not be in cash but credited to your Railway Wallet. Now, follow these steps to book and cancel a ticket using the UTS app.
