How to See Who Has Read Your WhatsApp Message

Basically, disabling the blue ticks or turning off read receipts on WhatsApp can be really helpful sometimes. For people who do not feel like replying right away or prefer that the sender does not know they've seen the message, disabling blue ticks comes in handy. First of all, there is no direct way to know if someone has read your message on WhatsApp if their read receipts are turned off. In that case, what you can do is:

• If the person is in a group, you can send a message. If they view it-even with read receipts turned off-you can still know if they have read the message. For that, send a message, click on it, tap the info icon, and you can see who has read your message, even if the person has turned off read receipts.
• Another way is to send them a voice note. Even if their read receipts are turned off, if they play your voice note, it will still show blue ticks.
• Also, you can check their last seen to get an idea of whether they might have read your message or not.
