Here's How to Gift Jio's Unlimited 5G Data to Your Friend

Jio has introduced an annual voucher plan that offers unlimited 5G data for a validity period of 365 days. Interestingly, you can gift this voucher to a friend or family member. It bundles 12 5G upgrade vouchers which can be redeemed on the My Jio app.

To use Jio's Rs 601 voucher, you must be on a recharge plan that provides at least 1.5GB of daily 4G data. It is not compatible with plans offering only 1GB per day or the Rs 1,899 recharge plan. Ensure you are on the correct base plan before using this voucher.

As noted, customers will get a total of 12 vouchers, each valued at Rs 51. These vouchers offer unlimited 5G data and an additional 3GB of 4G data. To gift this to your friend, follow these steps:

Step 1: Purchase the Rs 601 plan and select the recipient. If buying for a friend, choose the voucher transfer option.

Step 2: The recipient can activate it via the MyJio app; however, individual Rs 51 vouchers cannot be transferred.

Step 3: Once activated, users will receive a daily limit of 3GB of 4G data along with unlimited access to 5G data.

It's also worth noting that the recipient should be on an eligible plan to enjoy unlimited 5G data. This voucher plan could be the best option for people who don't want to spend a huge amount monthly to enjoy unlimited 5G data. For the unaware, Jio's unlimited 5G is now available only with plans offering at least 2GB of data per day, which is priced at Rs 349 monthly.
