How to install and uninstall a Windows language pack?
Windows 7 Language packs are the set of files that are downloaded and installed in order to enable the users to interact with an application in a language other than the one that was created. Windows 7 Language packs are those packs that are available for the computer that makes use of Windows 7 ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise editions.
The following steps have to be followed with utmost attention while installing as well as uninstalling.
Installation
Users will first have to start the Microsoft Update
Then click the ‘Start’ tab that is present at the left corner of the users Windows 7 desktop screen
In the search box, type ‘Windows Update’
Then click ‘Windows Update’ from the list of programs provided
Now the users will have to click the optional update link
Users then will have to select the desired language from the Windows 7 Language pack
Then select OK
After that, users will have to select the ‘Install Updates’ in order to download and install the process
Changing the interface language of Windows 7
Once the language pack has been installed, users can change the interface language of Windows 7 to the language that the users wish by following these steps:
Select ‘Start’
In search box, type ‘Change Display Language’
Then users will have to click ‘Change Display Language’
Select the users specified language from the drop-down list
Finally click OK
Uninstallation
Select Start
In the search box, users will have to type ‘Uninstall display language’
Then click on the appropriate button for installing or uninstalling
Now the users will have to opt for the languages that they wish to install or uninstall
Then click Next
Now the users will have to follow the remaining steps that will be displayed on the users computer inorder to complete the Uninstallation
In order to hide the unwanted language packs in the users corresponding Windows Update, the users will have to follow the corresponding steps.
Users will have to select the ‘Select the updates users want to install’ page by clicking the Windows 7 Language Packs category inorder to highlight all the language packs
Then the users will have to right-click the updates that are highlighted
Finally click ‘Hide Update’
This is how the users can install as well as uninstall a Windows Language Pack on to their Windows 7. And the users can enjoy using the applications in the language that the users wish to make use of.
