How to Share Your Instagram Story with Close Friends

The Close Friends option on Instagram allows you to create a private list of followers. When you post a story enabling this option, only the people on that list can view it. It's perfect for people who only want their closest friends or family to see their posts or stories. Follow these steps to make a list of Close Friends:

Step 1: First, open the Instagram app and tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.

Step 3: From the menu, select Close Friends.

Step 4: Use the search bar to find and add the followers you want to include in your Close Friends list.

Step 5: After selecting the people, tap Done.

Now, whenever you're about to share a story or post, simply choose the Close Friends option before posting. You'll see it highlighted in green, indicating that the content will only be visible to the people on your Close Friends list.

Moreover, Instagram also offers a feature called Favorites. This allows you to select specific followers like your best friends or favorite content creators, and you can mark them as favorites. Once added, you'll see the latest posts from these accounts in a dedicated Favorites feed, making it easier to stay updated with the content that matters most to you.
