How to untag photos in Facebook?
Users often face situations in which they get their photos tagged in Facebook which they don’t wish to have tagged. The topic provides the users with ways in which they can take off photos in Facebook.
Users will first have to click on the pencil icon that is represented at the top right corner of the page
Then the users can click on the option that denotes ‘Remove Tag’
Now the users can see that two pops up will be generated
The screen that pops up first will give the users the option to remove a tag by means of asking the person who tagged the user to remove the tag

Users also have the option to block the specified tagger
After selecting the required option , users can click on the ‘Continue’ button
The next screen will pop-up which will ask the user why they want the tag to be removed
Now the users can see that they will be provided with a wide range of choices from harassing to spam
If the user simply does not want the image to be tagged, then they can very well click on the option that denotes ‘I want to remove this tag’
Now the users will have to go to the Home screen of the Facebook
Click on the drop down menu on the top right corner
Then select the option that denotes ‘Privacy Settings’

Now the users will have to click on the ‘Edit Settings’ option that is denoted next to ‘How Tags work’
Users will now be provided with a range of options that can be changed according to user preferences
Click done after making the changes
The first among them includes Timeline Review, which once enabled means that the users can manually review each and every post that have been tagged by the user before it appears on the user’s Timeline
Second comes Tag Review which also works in the same way as that of Timeline Review
Third comes Tag Suggestions which is known as the facial recognition tool of Facebook which the users can disable by clicking on the option that denotes ‘No One’
Once the user approves the review options, then the users will have to approve the tag manually
Finally the users will have to click on the box for viewing the alerts
The next screen that pops up will give the users option to either click on the ‘Ignore’ button or ‘approve’ button

Clicking on the ‘Ignore’ tab will not display the content on the Timeline of the user
If the user wants to hide their activity from certain specific people, then the users will have to go to the ‘How Tags work’ page and click on the ‘custom’ option in the Maximum Time Visibility tab
Now a page will pop-up which give the users two options namely;
Make this visible to
Hide this from
Enter the list of the people from whom the user wants to hide the tagged posts
Then finally click on the tab that represents ‘Save Changes’
