How to Upgrade Your Moto G to Android 4.4 KitKat in India?
Overall, the market sales has went quite smooth for Motorola Moto G in India till now. Available in India at a starting price of Rs 12, 499, the super budget premium smartphone has been officially upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat.
Initially launched in India on Feb 5th, Moto G came stocked with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The company press release claims, that the latest version of Android brings further cool new features to the Moto G, including an improved phone dialer, new photo editing options in the Gallery app, the ability to print documents and photos, and more.

While, the smartphones is available in India only via exclusive distributor, Flipkart.com, currently it's not in stocks on the e-commerce website. However, interested buyers can book their units, which will be shipped to them in approximately 10-15 days.
Further, if you already own a Moto G and wish to upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, below are the steps, which you would need to follow to get the latest operating system.
Step 1: Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
Step 2: Select "About phone"
Step 3: Select "System updates"
Step 4: Select "Download". After the software is downloaded, select "Install"
Step 5: After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically

Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch screen with an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and churns out a competitive pixel density of 329 ppi. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. There is a presence of a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, auto-focus and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper. It is available in 2 variants depending on the on-board memory which is 8GB and 16GB.

The Moto G is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone and comes with an array of connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The device measures 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6 mm and weighs 143 grams and is powered by 2070 mAh battery, which according to the company will offer a mixed usage of up to 24 hours.
