5 Simple Steps to Make Reliance Jio VoLTE Calls via Non-VoLTE Smartphones
Reliance Jio is the country's first LTE-only network, which means that it only works with LTE enabled smartphones. Also, the calls made through Jio are completely free because they are made through VoLTE, which will become the norm in upcoming days.
The actual catch with the Reliance Jio is that you can't make calls through a non-VoLTE phone, which is a bit of a letdown. That being said, Reliance itself officially launched their own app to solve this issue, but you surely require a 4G smartphone to use the Jio 4G SIM card.

Download 'Jio4GVoice' App
As said earlier, Reliance itself has a solution for this problem. The company released their own app 'Jio4GVoice' (formerly known as JioJoin). The application is available to download for free from Google Play Store.
Register on the App
After downloading the app, you now need to finish the registration formalities, which is very easy to do so. Enter your mobile number and wait for the otp to arrive to complete the registration.
Enter Reliance Jio Number itself
In the second step, make sure that you have entered your Reliance Jio SIM number itself because the application won't work with other networks.

Select 'Jio4GVoice' as Default App for Calls and SMS
Once you're done with the registration process, the next step is to make sure that you've setup the Jio4GVoice as the default application for making calls and processing SMS.
Voila! You're Done to Make Calls
Now, try to make a call via Jio4GVoice app itself, the calls will be processed automatically. Also, when you are trying to make a call via your phone's dialer, it will redirect you to the Jio4GVoice app itself.
