How to Know If Your Google Account was Accessed by Someone Else
Most internet users would be having a Gmail account or two. How often do you actually check the Google dashboard? Have you noticed any fishy activity before that has prompted you to take the security of your Google account seriously? Well, this content will detail on this subject.

In order to keep your Google account safe, you need to always check your account activity from Google Dashboard on a regular basis. To make it easy and simple for you to check the online security, you can set up a monthly reminder as well that will intimate you the account activity on a monthly basis.
First, to go to your Google account page, you need to open the Gmail inbox and check on the profile picture that is at the top right. Then, you need to press the My Account button that is one of the options in the pop-up that appears. It will redirect you to the Google Account page.

On the Google Account page, you need to click on the Account Overview option that is in the Personal info & privacy column. On doing this, you will be taken to a new page that has the Account overview section. Now, click on the Dashboard link and enter the password of your Google account.
From the Google Dashboard, you can take a look at the most recent account activity made across all the Google products. You need to keep a tab on this section to monitor the account activity on a regular basis.

In the Dashboard, you can see a check box against the option 'Send me monthly reminders to check my account activity' at the top of the page. Check this box and Google will remind you to check the account activity on a monthly basis for any anomalies.
