How do I create a Key Combination shortcut in Windows PC
The shortcut keys, in fact, saves our time when we need something urgent.
We all have grown up using shortcut keys including Alt+F4, Shift+Tab and much more. These shortcut keys, in fact, saves our time when we need something urgent.
In an attempt to enhance the shortcut keys option, Windows 10 allows you to create custom shortcuts for any program on your computer. Today, we have compiled a list of steps on how to create custom shortcuts.
Step 1: Open a command prompt window by typing "cmd" in the search box and then right click on Command Prompt while selecting it and click "Run as administrator."
Step 2: Now type 'explorer shell: AppsFolder' and press enter. Now, you will get a list of your apps installed in your system.
Step 3: Once done, right click on an app and select create a shortcut. Click yes, when it prompts you for a desktop shortcut.
Step 4: Right click on the icon and select Properties. Enter a key combination in the Shortcut key field. The combination must be CTRL + ALT + a letter / number.
Step 5: Click OK.
