They act as add-ons to the primary WhatsApp app. In this case, we will be making use of 'SKEDit’ in order to send messages at a pre-determined time.

Scheduling WhatsApp messages using SKEDit

The SKEDit app is around 13MB in size. It is available in Google Play Store. Download and Install this app in the device on which you have your WhatsApp installed.

You can signup by using either your email or your Facebook account.

After logging into your account, tap on the WhatsApp icon at the bottom of the screen which will prompt a query from the app requesting accessibility permission. You will need to approve this for the app to work properly. If you have no qualms regarding this, you may go ahead and approve this, there have been no reported issues regarding this, so you can go ahead.

If you do not give the permission and you change your mind later, or if you denied permission by mistake, this is not an issue, you can rectify this with a few simple steps.

You can access the settings app of your device and grant the permissions needed from there.

Once all that has been dealt with, open up the app again and tap the WhatsApp icon.

The scheduling of messages can be dealt with here. You can write the text you wish to send, in addition to this, you can also select the recipient of the message. The final step is to save the message and schedule it. This can be done by tapping the “Schedule” button at the top right corner.

By default, the “Send Manually” button will be activated. Just before the message is sent, a notification from the app will prompt you to make any changes, if required. The messages will be sent unless you approve this.

Disabling the “Send Manually” button will result in this working automatically.
