How to Enable Apple Intelligence on Your iPhone in India
The first set of Apple Intelligence features are already available on eligible iPhones, which include a new redesigned Siri and AI writing tools. However, the AI features are primarily available in English (US), with English (India) support rolling out next year.
If you're in India and eager to try these new features, here's how you can access them. Begin by updating your iPhone to iOS 18.1. Once updated, navigate to Settings and select General.
How to Enable Apple Intelligence in India?
Step 1: In the General settings, choose "Language and Region." Then search for English (US) and set it as your primary language.
Step 2: After setting English (US) as your primary language, return to the main settings menu. Tap on the new Apple Intelligence and Siri option.
Step 3: You must change Siri's language to English (US). Even after doing this, the user won't get access directly, you should see an option labeled "Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist" at the top of the menu.
Step 4: Select it and tap on "Join Waitlist." Apple says it will take time. Upon joining the waitlist, you'll receive a notification when Apple Intelligence becomes available for you.
