Flipkart has launched its own Unified Payments Interface (UPI) service named Flipkart UPI in partnership with Axis Bank. The new initiative by Flipkart to take on other UPI apps like Amazon Pay, PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm.

Flipkart UPI Explained
With its UPI, the e-commerce site aims to enhance its digital payment offerings for all customers. The e-commerce platform is offering 10 SuperCoins on the first five transactions and a flat 25 percent offer on the first Flipkart order.
Flipkart UPI will initially be available for Android users. It allows users to make payments for both online and offline merchants within and outside of Flipkart. Here's the step-by-step guide on how to setup Flipkart UPI.

How to Setup Flipkart UPI
Step 1: First update the app from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: You can see the ''Flipkart UPI'' banner at the top of the homepage.
Step 3: Tap on the 'Add bank account' and select the bank you want to link for Flipkart UPI.
Step 4: Now complete the verification process to get it started. Alternatively, one can use Rupay credit card.
Flipkart UPI: Better Than Rivals?
When it comes to rewards, Flipkart always takes the lead. The e-commerce platform always provides Super coins and other discount coupons for shopping on the platform. Similarly, it promises to provide benefits like Supercoins, Cashback, and Brand Vouchers for its UPI payment service.
With the tagline 'India's Most Rewarding UPI', Flipkart marks a significant leap forward in enhancing the overall payment experience for users across India.
Other payment platforms like Google Pay, Paytm and PhonePe charge a convenience fee on mobile recharges and other bill payments via UPI service. However, there are no convenience charges for bill payments or mobile recharge using Flipkart UPI.
