How to undo Archive on Instagram app
We all do mistakes and most of them happen on a social network like Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchats. The mistake we are talking about is not a serious stuff, but silly things like archiving a post on Instagram, liking the post unknowingly and much more.
In this article, we will guide you on how to undo archive for the Instagram posts on Android and iPhone. When you tap on the archive unknowingly, the photo will be removed from the profile and won't be visible to anyone at all. You can undo this, by following the below method.
Android devices
Step 1: First of all, Open the Instagram app on your Android device and go to profile page by tapping on the profile picture.
Step 2: Now tap the clock icon in the top right corner from your profile page
Step 3: After doing this, you will be taken to the Stories Archive screen, which has all your stories.
Step 4: To undo your archive, tap on the "Stories Archive" and select "Post archive"
Step 5: Now, you will find all the archived photos. You can reverse the archive by tapping post followed by the three-dot menu on the top-right corner.
Step 6: Select "Show on Profile". The photo will be visible again in your profile.
iOS devices
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your iOS device and go to profile page by tapping on the profile picture.
Step 2: Now tap the clock icon in the top right corner from your profile page.
Step 3: After this, you will see your published stories in the Archive screen. Now, tap the on 'Archive' and select Posts.
Step 4: You can reverse the archive by tapping post followed by the three-dot menu on the top-right corner.
Step 5: Select "Show on Profile". The photo will be visible again in your profile.
How to publish the story again
Step 1: Follow the above-mentioned step and go to Archive screen on your device (Android or iOS).
Step 2: Tap on 'Stories Archive'
Step 3: Now select the stories you want to publish again and hit the share button on the bottom.
Step 4: After this, you will be taken to the new Story screen where you can customize your photo again.
