How to use Google Arts and Culture app in India
A new app from Google called Art and Culture is trending on the Internet as it analyzes your face accurately to match one in a famous painting. This feature got added to the latest update that lets you take a selfie and uses image recognition to finds someone in its art collection that resembles you the most.
Sadly, those who wish to test their own match in India or any other country may have to wait for sometime, as Google confirmed there are no current plans to expand the app from the US.
As per Google, "This is an experiment that’s only available in parts of the US right now, but we’re glad people are having so much fun matching their selfies to works of art." However, don't worry, as we have ways to make it for you. Follow the below steps to find out your painting on the Google Art and Culture Museum.
Step 1: Starting off, you need to download and install the Google Arts & Culture app from Google Play Store.
Step 2: Secondly, download any VPN from Play Store on your device. We tried with Tunnel Bear VPN and it worked.
Step 3: Open the VPN app, and set the location to the USA from the available option.
Step 4: Now open the Google Arts & Culture app and don't let the app to access location. If it prompts you for location access, tap on deny. When you are inside the app, scroll down till you see “Is your portrait in a museum?”
Step 5: Once you see that, tap on 'Get Started’ and tap on I accept at the bottom.
Step 6: Now when the app asks for camera permission to click a photo or record video, allow it to take. As you do in other apps, align your face with the frame and click a photo. Once clicked, the Google’s AI will work in the background and show you the famous artwork from the museum that you resemble. Also, this app will present you with four options, where you can just swipe to check it.
