How to use Amazon Pay for prepaid mobile recharge

Amazon now lets its users recharge their prepaid mobile phones and more.

U.S-based online retail giant Amazon in India has added another feature to its website that allows you to recharge the prepaid mobile numbers. As of now, this is in beta mode with only prepaid recharges on select operators. It is available on both the app and the web as well.

How to use Amazon Pay for prepaid mobile recharge


You can recharge your mobile using Amazon Pay option, which is the payments service by Amazon similar to that of other electronic wallets available.

Apart from using it in Amazon India, you can use Amazon Pay on partner websites and apps, including online food ordering, bus tickets, movie tickets, and much more. In order to recharge your mobile prepaid number, follow the below steps.

Step 1: Open Amazon app on your mobile.

Step 2: Now tap on the three horizontal line on the top left corner to head to Your Account section.

Step 3: Now under that menu, go to Your Amazon Pay balance.

Step 4: Once you are on that page choose mobile recharge.


Step 5: Now enter your mobile number, along with the operator, and the amount of recharge. The amount will be automatically deducted from your Amazon Pay balance. You the option to browse recharge plans as well.
