It is an extremely common phenomenon that when we try to enjoy an interesting video or listening to our favorite track, and suddenly it starts buffering. How annoying will it be right?
"Wait, the video is buffering" is a common phrase that all of us have seen many times while watching videos online. The video streaming buffering lag often drives all of us mad and crazy some or the other time.
However, there's one solution that all of us are well aware of to resolve this issue temporarily. It is to pause the video and let it buffer for minutes together, until it is completely loaded. But, the process is often unbearable and tests our patience.
We at GizBot has come up with 5 ways that can simply stream video playback problems, and allow you to watch your favorite video without any problem.
Turn off Hardware Acceleration in Flash Videos
By yurning off the hardware accelerator in flash videos, the software accelerator provides a lower video shutter therefore fixing the buffering issues. Doing so improves the slow hardware, but hinders the quality of the original video.
However, in case someone doesn't have a lower performance video card, they can just simply right click on the video and click on the turn off hardware acceleration option from the drop down list.
Check Flash Version and Video Card Driver
Before playing a video, ensure that you have the latest version of the flash player installed.
One also needs to check on their most recent video card driver as it works on par with the video streaming software.
Reduce the Quality of the Video
Although its not a good option to practice, reducing the quality of the video can fix the never ending buffering problems. The lower the feed, the lesser the data you need. This will help the video play in a much better way.
However, this method drastically reduces the quality of the video, and the viewer might not be able to enjoy the original version of it.
Isolate the Video Streaming
Close all the other Internet activities including downloads, updates or any other program to reduce the Internet speed.
Having several programs running with the same Internet bandwidth may slow down the normal Internet speed of the device trying to stream the video. This will surely resolve the buffering problems.
Streaming Video via a Wired Connection
The performance of a streaming video is much better from a direct wired connection as compared to wireless.
To enjoy the video without any interruption, you can simply locate the streaming device near to a wireless signal source, and also adjust the channel number within wireless router settings.
