The Redmi Note 3 is available in two variants differentiated by internal storage capacity and RAM. One with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage is priced for Rs. 9,999 while the 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal memory is priced at Rs. 11,999.

Just to recall, it comes with an all-metal unibody design and sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display upfront. Under the hood, the smartphone is now powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core SoC (previously referred to as Snapdragon 618) boasting of a two Cortex A72 cores clocked at 1.2GHz and four A53 cores at 1.8GHz.
The fingerprint sensor on Redmi Note 3 uses capacitive scanning technology for accurate, secure and fast performance, unlocking the device in just 0.3 seconds. There are number of useful fingerprint sensor features incorporated into MIUI 7, including the ability to lock apps, access hidden folders, and even take a front or rear camera selfie using just your fingerprint.

It will be hard to find a particular message in your SMS inbox, especially when you get lots of promotional messages from banks, telecom operators, e-commerce deals, and much more. To solve this issue, the MIUI 7 features a smart SMS filter, which manages to filter the promotional messages in a separate folder to make things easier. To activate go to Settings >> System Apps >> Messaging and enable Notifications Group.

There are many call recorder apps on Android app store, but the MIUI 7 comes with built-in call recorder, which can automatically record the incoming and outgoing calls. So you don't need to download any third party call recorder. While on call you'll get an icon to record a call, just tap to record the conversation.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3's MIUI comes with a XXL text mode. To activated got to Settings >> Text Size and choose the size of what you want.

MIUI 7 in Redmi Note 3 comes with built-in app lock. User can go to Settings >> Additional Settings >> Privacy Protection >> Lock Individual Apps >> and follow on screen instruction. Once you set the security pattern select Choose apps to lock to secure apps.

As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 3 is the company's first smartphone to be equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It is placed just below the camera unit on the back of the device. Setting it up is hassle-free and is quick to recognize which finger has been used and unlocks the device in under half a second.
