Pinkslipbot
Also known as QakBot/QBot, it is created to steal personal and financial data from its victims. This malware allows complete control of infected systems through a command-based backdoor operated by the control server. This malware can also spread to other systems within the environment through network shares. The new version has been updated so that it now acts as a Trojan, a worm, and as part of a botnet.
Xavier
Xavier is a new malware discovered for Android OS. This malware is capable of stealing and leaking the user information stored on Android smartphone. This malware was discovered in over 800 apps on the Google Play Store. To prevent your device from all these things, make sure to check out an app's reviews and install apps only from reputable developers.
OSX/Dok Malware
This is another malware comes in the form of a file named Dokument.zip, which has been emailed to victims in phishing emails. This malware aims at the victim's banking credentials by mimicking major bank sites. Also, the fake sites prompt the victim to install an application on their mobile devices, which leads to further infection and data leakage from the mobile platform as well. In order to remove the infection, you will need to start by quitting all open apps, especially Safari.
NotPetya
This piece of malware infects a target computer by encrypting some of the data on it and leaving out a message to the victims by explaining how they can pay in Bitcoin to get the keys to getting their data back. It also has tools to help it spread and infect computers.
LeakerLocker
This is another malware that extorts money from the victim to prevent the attacker from spreading a victim's private information. This malware claims that it takes unauthorized backup of a phone's sensitive information that could be leaked to a user's contacts unless it receives money.
