Acer Aspire 5 AI Laptop Launched in India with Intel Core Ultra Processors: Check Price, Specs, Features

Acer just expanded its thin-and-light portfolio in India with the official launch of the new Aspire 5 AI laptop. The device is squarely aimed at everyday users, students, and hybrid workers who need a solid balance between processing power and a highly portable chassis.

The headline feature here is the jump to Intel's latest Core Ultra hardware, which introduces dedicated AI acceleration directly into Acer’s mainstream lineup.

Built Around Intel Core Ultra Hardware

The new Aspire 5 swaps out older silicon for the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 H-series processors. These chips are engineered to handle multitasking and modern AI workloads much more efficiently, meaning they can manage everything from background noise cancellation to light gaming and photo editing without breaking a sweat.

You can configure the machine with up to 32GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB NVMe SSD. This helps cut down on system boot times and makes flipping between massive files or browser tabs feel entirely seamless. The laptop packs a 54Wh battery to get you through your workflow, and it ships with 65W fast charging support via its full-function USB Type-C port.

Upgraded Display and Form Factor

Acer went with a modern 14-inch WUXGA IPS panel this time around, giving it a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Crucially, it shifts to a taller 16:10 aspect ratio. That extra vertical screen real estate makes reading code, editing documents, or browsing web pages a lot more comfortable. The screen also includes Acer's ComfyView matte coating to drastically cut down on glare from office overhead lights.

The physical design focuses heavily on mobility, measuring just 17.5 mm thick and tipping the scales at a lightweight 1.2 kg. A 180-degree hinge lets the screen lay completely flat on a desk, which comes in handy for collaboration or sharing your screen during quick meetings. It also features a backlit keyboard for working in low light alongside a precision multi-gesture touchpad.

Connectivity and Smart Features

Even though the chassis is slim, Acer didn't strip away the essential ports. You get full-function USB Type-C ports that handle charging, data transfers, and external display output simultaneously. It also retains multiple standard USB Type-A ports, a dedicated HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a physical headphone jack. On the wireless side, the machine is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for fast, stable internet connections.

For privacy and calls, the laptop features a Full HD webcam backed by a physical camera shutter slider so you can completely block the lens when you aren't in a meeting. Sound is handled by a set of dual stereo speakers, and the machine boots Windows 11 Home straight out of the box.

Price and Retail Availability

The Acer Aspire 5 AI laptop starts at Rs. 79,999 in India. It is officially available starting today across a wide variety of channels. You can pick it up online via Amazon and the official Acer E-store, or buy it in person through Acer Exclusive Stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.
