Acer Launches Swift Pro, Aspire Pro And Aspire 3 In India: Price, Specifications, Availability

Acer brought three laptops to India at its Next@Acer India event in Delhi on August 10. The Swift Pro leads at Rs 79,999, the Aspire Pro follows at Rs 69,999, and the Aspire 3 opens the range at Rs 39,999. The two Pro models are being sold as AI laptops, while the Aspire 3 is aimed at students and families.

The Swift Pro is the flagship of the three. It runs Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 H-series processors with Intel Arc graphics, in a metal body weighing around 1.2 kg. The 14-inch WUXGA display uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, and there is an optional OLED panel rated at 400 nits. Memory goes up to 32GB of LPDDR5 and storage to 1TB, with a 52Wh battery rated for up to 10.5 hours.

There is a fingerprint reader in the power button, a Full HD webcam with a physical privacy shutter, a backlit keyboard and a 180-degree hinge. Ports include USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0, and a microSD reader. There's Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support as well.

The Aspire Pro sits below it with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, a Meteor Lake processor Intel introduced at the end of 2023, paired with Intel UHD Graphics. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, and both can be upgraded later to 32GB and 1TB. That marks a real split between the two Pro models, because the Swift Pro's LPDDR5 memory is soldered and fixed at purchase.

The Aspire Pro weighs 1.3 kg, carries a 14-inch Full HD IPS screen and is rated for up to 10 hours on a 65W USB Type-C charger. Ports include two USB Type-C, USB 3.2, HDMI, an SD card reader, an audio jack, and a Kensington slot.

The Aspire 3 is the value option and takes a different route entirely. Acer is starting it with the AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, a dual-core chip AMD launched back in 2019, with integrated Radeon graphics. It comes with up to 16GB of DDR4 memory that can go to 32GB, and NVMe storage expandable to 1TB. The 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel sits on a 180-degree lay-flat hinge, the laptop weighs 1.7 kg, and it charges over USB Type-C. Ports include USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, an SD card reader and an audio jack, with Wi-Fi 6 on board.
