Acer Swift 5 launched in India: Specs, price, and more

Acer has announced the launch of the Acer Swift 5 lightweight and ultra-thin laptop in India. The highlight of this laptop is its ultra-thin 14.9mm design and lightweight profile of 970 grams. The Swift 5 runs Windows 10 Home and is priced at Rs. 79,999 onwards. It makes use of the 8th generation Intel Core processors under its hood.
The Acer Swift 5 laptop boasts of a 14-inch IPS-Pro FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is said that this display can fit into the footprint of a 13-inch display due to the presence of narrow bezels. The laptop's screen makes use of the company's proprietary Color Intelligence technology, which optimizes screen brightness, saturation and color. Under its hood, the Acer Swift 5 employs the 8th gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors teamed up with 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage space.
The Acer laptop comes with connectivity aspects such as a USB Type-C 3.1 port, two USB 3.0 ports, and other standard aspects. The other goodies on board are a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor, a 4670mAh battery rendering up to 8 hours of battery life and a backlit keyboard. The Windows Hello is a fingerprint reader, which helps quickly and securely verify an owner's identity and logging them on with a touch of the finger.
The notebook is exquisitely crafted with a stylish selection of materials including ultra-light magnesium-lithium alloys for the top and bottom cover, and magnesium-aluminum alloys for extra sturdiness on the palm rest area. Acer TrueHarmony with Dolby Audio Premium technology provides powerful and clear audio while Skype for Business certification ensures crisp video conferencing and a great experience with Cortana.
When it comes to the pricing and availability of the Acer Swift 5, the laptop is priced starting Rs. 79,999 and will be available via the Acer Exclusive stores and other retail stores across the country.
