With early access for Amazon Prime members on September 26, the Great Indian Festival sale will kick off on September 27 for all customers. The e-commerce site has already started revealing deals and discounts across various categories.

It has now been confirmed the Macbook Air M1 will be available at just Rs 52,990 instead of its current selling price of Rs 62,990. Now, it brings into question whether purchasing the four-year-old Macbook Air M1 remains a wise decision.

Macbook Air M1: Should You Buy?

Considering the significant price reduction of the Macbook Air M1 to Rs 52,990 during Amazon's Great Indian Festival sale, it is still a good choice. One of the highlights of the device is its battery life, which is claimed to offer up to 15 hours of wireless webcasting or up to 18 hours of movie playback on the Apple TV app. It also features a 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS display with a resolution of 1560 x 1600 pixels.

It's also important to note that, Apple has officially discontinued the Macbook Air M1, and the base model of the same comes with just 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which aren't user upgradable. Unlike an iPhone, Apple does include a charger with the Macbook Air.

However, if you are ready to spend a few more thousand, you can get the Macbook Air M2 model on your hands at a massive discounted price compared to its original selling price. As per the Flipkart listing, the Macbook Air M2 will be available for less than Rs 70,000 during the Big Billion Days Sale which will also start on September 27 for everyone.
