Apple Launches Touchscreen MacBook Pro With OLED Screen, Price Starts From Rs 3,49,900

Apple has (finally) just announced the product that all tech enthusiasts have been talking about since last year: a MacBook with a touchscreen. The company quietly unveiled the device at its Pro And Tell event held in Los Angeles on October 28. What was earlier expected to be a livestream event by the media turned into a rather quick announcement from the Cupertino-based tech giant.

Johny Srouji, Apple’s chief hardware officer, said in a press release, "The new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display is a monumental step forward for the Mac. PROLED XDR is the world’s best laptop display. It pairs state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology with advanced algorithms in our display engine to deliver the kind of visual fidelity pros have been dreaming of."

Apple launches Touchscreen MacBook Pro with OLED screen

The new MacBook Pro with a 'PROLED’ screen is already visible on Apple’s official website. The price of the device starts from Rs 3,49,900 for the 14-inch variant, whereas the 16-inch model starts from Rs 4,09,900. EMI options are also available. The laptop is available in Space Black and Silver colour options.

But, not everything is new here. Apple has also included a detail that will delight all those who loved the earlier MacBooks. We are talking about - the glowing logo. The 2017 MacBook Air, powered by Intel, was the last model that carried the illuminating logo which was loved by many. Now that it has made a comeback after nearly a decade, it will make some long-term Apple fans really happy.

You can pre-order the touchscreen MacBook starting today, and it will be available from November 9 this year.
