Apple seems to be launching new MacBook Pro models powered by the upcoming M5 Pro and M5 Max chips soon. While there is no official confirmation yet, the launch date for the new Macs has now surfaced online.

According to a new report from Macworld, Apple will unveil its next-generation high-end MacBook Pro lineup on January 28, alongside the new Creator Studio subscription. The report further noted that both the Creator Suite and the MacBook Pro are aimed at the same professional audience. Moreover, Apple typically unveils new products on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which makes the suggested timeline seem all the more plausible.

Reports suggest that Apple's new MacBook Pro models powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips are expected to be offered in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes. To recall, Apple refreshed the 14-inch MacBook Pro in October 2025 with the new M5 chip. That model delivers up to 3.5x faster AI performance and 1.6x improved graphics performance compared to the M4 version.

Given these gains, the upcoming M5 Pro and M5 Max models are expected to offer a significant performance leap. The M5-powered MacBook Pro starts in India at ₹1,69,900 for the base variant.

Meanwhile, as noted, the new MacBook Pro models are likely to arrive alongside Apple's Creator Studio on January 28, which will be available as a universal App Store subscription, priced at ₹399 per month or ₹3,999 per year in India. Students and educators can access the service at a discounted rate of ₹199 per month or ₹1,999 per year.
