Apple Might Launch Its 16-Inch MacBook With Revamped Keyboard Today

Over the last few years, it has been said that Apple is working on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro. Now, according to a report from Bloomberg, Apple might launch its 16-inch MacBook Pro on November 13 (Today) which is going to replace the 15-inch MacBook Pro series. However, the company hasn't made any announcements regarding the same.

Along with a bigger screen, the laptop is also expected to offer a new keyboard that fixes the infamous issues on its butterfly mechanism keyboards. The 16-inch MacBook Pro is also expected to come with a major design overhaul compared to the last three generations of MacBooks.

Though MacBook Pro is not a star product for Apple, it still generated an annual revenue of $25 billion and the company upgrades the lineup every now and then to offer the latest hardware from Intel (CPU) and AMD (GPU). The company also pushes one major software update every year and macOS Catalina is the latest iteration.

The bigger 16-inch screen is speculated to offer higher resolution compared to the 15-inch model. Plus, the display will be factory color-calibrated to helps video and photo editors. Besides, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is also expected to come with louder speakers for better audio output.

Price And Availability

The base variant of the MacBook Pro is likely to be based on the 10th Gen Intel Core-i5/Core-i7processor with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. As per the pricing, the new MacBook Pro is likely to similar to the 15-inch model and is expected to carry a price tag of $2,399 in the US.

As per the report, the new 16-inch MacBook Pro will go on sale in November itself and the company might also start to sell its most powerful computer -- the Mac Pro.
