Asus Climbs to No. 2 Spot in India’s Consumer Notebook Market With 17.9% Share
Asus has become the no. 2 consumer notebook brand in India, boasting a 17.9% market share. Asus India's rise is especially impressive, considering that the consumer notebook segment fell by 41.8% YoY.
Asus Registers Growth in Notebook Market
According to IDC's Worldwide Personal Computing Devices Tracker for Q1 2023, the consumer notebook market saw a sharp decline of 41.8% YoY, yet Asus registered a QoQ growth of 59.8% in Q1 2023. This catapulted Asus to the second rank in the consumer notebook segment in India with a 17.9% share.

From the beginning of the year, Asus has been catering to various segments across the consumer notebook category, ranging from gaming to creator series. The brand recently launched the Zenbook S 13 OLED, the world's slimmest laptop, weighing just 1 kg.
As for the gaming lineup, Asus followed up with the powerful Strix Scar series. The brand's ROG series of gaming laptops is no slouch, boasting impressive specs and overall performance.
For creatives, there's the Asus creator series, with the newest lineup including the ZenBook Pro 14 Duo OLED, the Vivobook Pro 16 OLED, the Vivobook Pro 15 OLED, the Vivobook 14X, Vivobook 14X OLED, and Vivobook 16X. All laptops come powered by 13th gen Intel processors.
With an impressive portfolio of notebooks catering to various segments, Asus managed to clinch one of the top spots in India's notebook market.
