ASUS Launches Chromebook CM32 Detachable, CM14 and CM15 in India Starting at Rs. 26,990

ASUS has expanded its Chromebook portfolio in India with the launch of the Chromebook CM32 Detachable, Chromebook CM14, and Chromebook CM15. The new models run ChromeOS and are aimed at students, first-time laptop buyers, and users looking for lightweight devices for everyday tasks.

The new lineup starts at Rs. 26,990 and will be available through Amazon and the ASUS eShop.

Chromebook CM32 Detachable Is The Highlight

The Chromebook CM32 Detachable is the most distinctive device in the new lineup. As the name suggests, it features a detachable design that allows it to be used as both a laptop and a tablet.

ASUS says the device weighs 640g and comes with a metallic chassis that meets military-grade durability standards. It features a 10.95-inch 2.5K touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The Chromebook CM32 also supports the ASUS Pen and ships with a detachable keyboard and magnetic stand. ASUS claims up to 12 hours of battery life, with charging handled through a USB Type-C port.

Chromebook CM14 And CM15 Target Everyday Computing

Alongside the CM32, ASUS has also introduced the Chromebook CM14 and Chromebook CM15.

The two models share a similar feature set, with the main difference being display size. The CM14 comes with a 14-inch display, while the CM15 offers a larger 15-inch screen.

Both laptops are powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor and feature a 180-degree lay-flat hinge. ASUS says the devices can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The company has also included Google AI Pro benefits and cloud storage access for a limited period with all three Chromebooks.

ASUS has announced the following prices for the new Chromebook lineup:

• ASUS Chromebook CM15: Rs. 28,990
• ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable: Rs. 37,990

The Chromebook CM32 Detachable is currently available for pre-order. The Chromebook CM14 and Chromebook CM15 will go on sale from June 19 through Amazon and the ASUS eShop.

Customers who pre-order the CM32 can also purchase a bundled package that includes an extended warranty, accidental damage protection, and an ASUS mouse at a discounted price.
